About the opportunity:
Are you a senior software developer/ DI with the capacity for problem-solving and persistence? If so, you’d enjoy writing software over two widespread and complex domains. Given the opportunity, you find it difficult to stop speaking about what you do. You enjoy playing with devices in your free time and may well have a background in hardware. You are completely unafraid of “bits and bytes” and you have a high-level understanding and 3+ years of experience with MS SQL.
This Dev will be joining a large, strong, and outspoken team that operates at the ‘choke point’ and is cool under pressure, but you see a complicated problem to solve and enjoy that.
The Software Development department is sectioned into Software Domain Teams, each having 'ownership' of their IP (Technology choices, architecture, best practices, DevOps) and an appropriate degree of autonomy. This provides the best of both worlds having the feel of a small 'start up' team while also having the security of being part of a well-established and stable business.
Our cross-functional teams are passionate about collaboration and sharing knowledge, as well as working with a high degree of autonomy. As a Senior Software Developer/ DI at MiX Telematics, you will be encouraged to embrace the latest technological updates and given a platform to work on complex, interesting problems daily.
What you need to be successful:
Background:
● Must have 3+ years: C#, Xamarin (Android and iOS), MS SQL, RESTful API experience, Angular, .net core
● Advantageous: AWS Cloud Tech experience, MVVM

● Unafraid of asking for help/ support when required
