Department: Supply Chain
Location: Stellenbosch, Cape Town. Will consider partial remote working for the right individual.
About the opportunity:
If you have at least five years’ experience in Sales and Operational Planning within a manufacturing environment, then this role should interest you. It requires the ability to communicate and work effectively with senior stakeholders in divisions spread across the globe and take ownership of monthly S&OP meetings (demand and supply) to ensure demand forecast and supply accuracy.
Responsibilities would then extend to the preparation of the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Excel file following the monthly meetings and determining the products and quantities to be ordered from various manufacturers and suppliers.
You will be called upon to oversee the team managing the logistics and warehousing functions within the supply chain.
What you need to be successful:
Background:
- Must have: 5+ years’ S&OP experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Advantageous: Experience with Supply Chain modules within an MS Dynamics or similar ERP environment.
Traits:
- Hands-on leader with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Enhanced analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Excellent communicator and able to deal effectively with senior stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise projects and process multiple tasks
