We are looking for a talented self motivated Logistics Administrator to join the team here at MiX Europe. 

About the opportunity:

The successful candidate will work as part of the logistics team, ensuring a timely and accurate response to customer and internal requests. Processing sales orders, stock movements between the warehouse, configurations and the customers will be a daily requirement. Maintenance and periodic reconciliation of internal and external stock depots fall within the scope of this role. Knowledge of import and export procedures, including post Brexit rules, is desirable. Other duties will include billing, stock control and raising purchase orders for stock and services needed within the business. The person will provide cover for other members of the team, including warehouse cover as required and assist with the quarterly stock audits of the warehouse

Main Responsibilities:

Procurement, Stock reconciliation, Sales Order Processing, Invoicing, Disconnections, Audit Requests, Warehouse cover, adherence to processes and other logistics duties as required.

        Procurement:

  • Generate purchase orders in MiX’s ERP system
  • Audit and monitoring of open purchase orders
  • Liaison with purchase ledger

      Sales Order Processing and Billing:

  • Processing of sales agreements and purchase orders using MiX’s ERP system
  • Internal and external communication via telephone and Microsoft Office
  • Instigate invoicing of airtime using input from project managers, finance and the customer response centre
  • Processing of disconnections in-line with invoicing requirements as advised by Credit Control
  • Ensuring all correct paperwork is raised for orders been shipped especially when these orders are been shipped outside of the UK

      Depot Reconciliation / Stock Audit:

  • Maintenance of internal and external stock depot valuations and rectification as required
  • Assist in the quarterly stock audit of our main warehouse
  • Assurance of accurate depot stock records for SOX and other internal and external audit
  • Ensuring all engineer boot stock depots are kept replenished and are reconciled on a quarterly basis

      Warranty Admin:

  • Prepare warranty sales orders
  • Respond to external warranty and quality requirements

      Warehouse Cover during busy periods:

  • Picking and packing
  • Raising shipments in the DHL system
  • Logging of all serial data of goods leaving the warehouse
  • Palletising
  • Booking in of goods received into the warehouse
  • Receipt and recording of returns
  • Weekly Stock audit
  • Electronic recording and organisation of document

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • A proactive, self-starter with the ability to methodically solve problems.
  • Must be a team player with a flexible approach to requirements
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced of working with ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience working in logistics with an understanding of the principles of stock management
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Educated to GCSE level or higher
  • Full driving licence desirable
