Junior Accountant
Are you passionate about crunching numbers? MiX Telematics - a leading company in mobile asset management requires a Junior Accountant at their Stellenbosch office. This position will be focusing on the financial accounting section of the Finance Department but will also provide support to the other areas where needed.
This individual will be reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills:
What you need to be successful:
- Min 2 years post graduate experience in a similar position.
- Must have a B.Com qualification or similar.
- Must be computer literate.
- High proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience in Microsoft AX will be advantageous.
What you will be responsible for:
- Creditor payments reviews
- Masterfile record maintenance
- Balance sheet reconciliations (month end and continued)
- Assist in ensuring compliance of internal and external financial controls
- Completion of various statutory returns
- Cash management
- Reserve bank Excon applications
- Ad hoc duties as required by Senior Financial Accountant
