Graphic Designer
Are you the sort of Designer who is not afraid to get your hands dirty and move from traditional design to latest innovation trends?
We’re recruiting for an energetic, enthusiastic design maverick who is calm under pressure, takes initiative, thinks outside of the box and can work comfortably with a diverse, international team in a B2B/Tech environment.
This individual will be reporting to the Group Brand and Communications Manager and work within the Global Marketing function.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills:
What you need to be successful:
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Adobe Creative Suite 6 with excellent Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator skills is a must
- Typography knowledge
- Min. 5 years of inhouse or agency graphic design experience (Global Brand an advantage)
- Attention to detail and very thorough
- Problem-solver who likes to create magic from concepts and ideas
- Experience with Content Management Systems
- Ability to manage time meticulously
Other skills that can set you apart:
- Experience in video design (storyboarding, graphics, editing)
- Animation experience
- Fine arts knowledge/background
- Illustration
- Web design
- UX design
- Global account experience
What you will be responsible for:
- Conceptualise and create artwork for online and offline campaigns, marketing collateral, presentations, video, infographics, web pages, etc.
- Develop designs from concept to completion.
- Manage the visual identity for MiX Telematics.
- Maintain a consistent, creative, and innovative standard in all design work.
- Apply the visual identity across a broad range of marketing communication projects.
- Good understanding of print production with hands-on experience setting up finished art for repro and print.
